

South Florida beaches can be a fun way to spend the day and Summer is quickly approaching; with that in mind, it probably has been a year since going to the beach. This year we are all eager to get out, explore and return to some normalcy of living. Whether you go to the beach with small children, adults or alone here are a the top safety tips and things to remember to stay safe at the beach.
- VERY IMPORTANT: Swim at a patrolled beach.
- Read all posted safety signs and warnings
- Know where the lifegaurd stations are located
- Avoid swimming alone
- Do not swim after consuming alcohol
- Stay hydrated with plenty of water
- Wear watersheds to protect yourself from glass or sharp objects
- Make sure to reapply sunscreen frequently and after swimming.
- Always keep children in sight.
- Do not swim at night.
